Norwich City boss Daniel Farke says his side need to take the game to Birmingham City when the pair clash on Tuesday in the Championship.

Farke's troops are on the lookout for a fourth successive league victory after previous successes against Stoke City, Coventry City and Rotherham United.

The Canaries are seven points clear at the top of the table, while Birmingham secured a much-needed three points last weekend against Sheffield Wednesday.

We have to make sure that we speed up the game as much as possible.

Aitor Karanka's side are just two points above the bottom three, but Farke is expecting them to be full of confidence after ending their winless run.

The inconsistent surface at the St Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium will likely favour the home side, but the German believes a fast start could prove Birmingham's undoing.

He told the official Norwich City website: "Birmingham are a big club and have an experienced coach, and they are fighting against relegation.

"The pitch will not make it easy! But we can't choose this; we have to make sure that we speed up the game as much as possible.

"We've proven that we can create chances against sides who sit a bit deeper. If there's one team who's capable of doing this in this league, it's us."

Karanka has no fresh injury concerns ahead of kick-off, while the same can be said for the Canaries.

Lukas Rupp and Kieran Dowell are pushing for recalls in midfield as Norwich try to record back-to-back wins on their travels.

Birmingham are 6.00 to win, the draw is 4.00, while Norwich are 1.57 to leave the Midlands with all three points.

The Canaries are 1.44 to win the Championship 2020/21.
