The Detroit Pistons host the New York Knicks over 3700 miles from home on Thursday when the NBA travels to the O2 Arena in London.
Mike Dantoni brings his Knicks side to London to face Detroit Pistons.
Part of the exploration of international expansion, the matchup features a New York side that has struggled in recent games losing six of the past 10 and yet is only one game behind the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference standings.
Sunday the Knicks ran out 100-87 winners over an over matched New Orleans Hornets side at Madison Square Garden as Carmelo Anthony led the way with 27 points.
Conversely the Pistons have won seven of ten despite falling to the Utah Jazz at home last time out. Both sides shot over 50% on the evening at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit only for the Pistons poor free throw shooting to let them down.
In the Central Division the gap between the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls narrowed to a half game after the leaders fell 97-86 to Orlando while the Bulls edged the Toronto Raptors 107-105 in overtime.
Luol Deng's 18-footer with three seconds to go was the winner for the visitors at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto as Jose Calderon missed a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Both clubs are back in action on Friday when the Boston Celtics host the Bulls at the TD Garden while the Raptors are at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia to face the 76ers.
The Pacers return to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis following their loss at the Amway Center in Orlando and welcome in the Houston Rockets.
The Pacers are 9.00 to win the NBA Championship, while the Bulls can be backed at 7501.00.
